SMART JACKET

The Smart Jacket is a wireless airbag system for motorcyclists developed by Dainese. Seven sensors measure the rider's movements 1,000 times per second, and a proprietary algorithm detects dangerous situations. When triggered, it inflates with protection equivalent to seven back protectors and eight chest protectors to shield the rider.

D-air Lab

D-air Lab was founded by Lino Dainese to develop airbags for workplace environments (such as workers at height) and for seniors. Examples include a wireless airbag that senses a fall from height and deploys in mid-air, and airbags for seniors that detect a fall and protect the hips and head.
