Message

A Message from the CEO

Drawing on my experience at an apparel brand, a four-wheeled event company and an imported-motorcycle dealer, I founded Eurogear Inc. in 2004 at the age of 25.

The name has roots in my university years. At 21, I had the then-rare chance to study abroad and came away determined to build a career that used language to connect Japan and the wider world. That was also the moment the euro currency launched and captured the public imagination. I liked the idea of combining functional apparel — “gear” — with the European “euro”, and the company name was born.

We began as the apparel shop for the Italian motorcycle brand Ducati, and today our line-up centres on motorcycle wear from brands such as Dainese, while also covering safety gear for active sports like skiing, cycling and horseback riding, as well as personal protective equipment designed for working and everyday environments. We see deep meaning in contributing to society through products that keep people safe.
