Our Environment & Ways of Working

Office (Nihombashi Tomizawacho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo)

Office environment

The Nihombashi area - a district under continuous development.

Eurogear's head office is located in a building renovated in 2016, in an area that is undergoing major development while still retaining long-established restaurants - a neighborhood full of things to enjoy.

It takes about 10 minutes on foot to reach "COREDO Muromachi," a complex of high-rise buildings and shopping zones. Many overseas visitors also stop by, so access from Tokyo Station is excellent, and there are a variety of commuting routes via the Toei Shinjuku Line, Asakusa Line, Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, and Hanzomon Line.

Motorcycle, Ski, and MTB Apparel Stores (8 locations nationwide)

Store environment

A place to deliver safety to riders through our products - and a place where our team members grow

Eurogear's management philosophy - "to provide safety in every situation" and "to become a company that brings joy to our customers, employees, and their families" - comes to life in the eight directly operated stores we run across Japan.

Of course we strive to create spaces our customers choose and to deliver safety, but we also aim to build workplaces where the people who work in them can keep growing.
By sharing the results we achieve, we build stores that enrich the lives not only of our customers but also of the people who work there.

Working at Eurogear
(From Staff Interviews)

Here we introduce a day in the life of the people who work at Eurogear, along with a short comment from each of them.

What matters most at work is never forgetting your original mindset and maintaining sincerity, diligence, and honesty. I actively take on new challenges and try to absorb anything that can be put to use in my work. I also manage my own work so I can take time off properly. On my days off I enjoy my hobby of strength training, spend time with my family, go driving, or read. And I actively take on new challenges and try to absorb anything that can be put to use in my work.

A Day in the Life

11:00 Check the task list I prepared the previous day, prioritize, and handle emails related to assigned stores, business partners, and brands.
13:00 After finishing online meetings, take a break.
15:00 Travel to assigned store for an on-site visit, carry out various tasks and meetings on location.
17:00 Handle the remainder of the morning's work with desk tasks.
20:00 Before the end of the day, prepare and review the task list for the following day, then leave.

Hospitality may sound simple, but there is no single correct answer - it's truly deep. That's exactly why it's a job where you can put your own personality to work. So I hope the people I work with can fully express their own individuality too.

A Day in the Life

9:50 Arrive at work. Change into uniform and clean the store before opening to welcome customers.
10:00 Opening. Respond one by one to inquiries received since the previous evening (email, LINE, etc.). First customers arrive. Average stay is 30 minutes to an hour.
11:00 Incoming products. Merchandise arrives from other stores, the warehouse, or Italy.
13:00 Writing blog posts.
14:00 Since opening is gradual, I typically take a break around 1-2 p.m.
16:00 Based on customer service and past customer records, I send individualized SMS messages giving priority introductions to customers likely to be interested in newly arrived products. I also send clear sales-promotion information via our email newsletter.
18:45 Closing preparations. After the final tidying up, I leave the store by around 7:20-7:30 p.m.

"Selling time, not products" - A premium approach to service discovered by a former dance instructor

From professional dancer to premium sales specialist - an unusual career path In university, I joined a student competitive dance club and spent four years immersed in dance. After graduation, I went independent as a professional competitive dancer and opened a ballroom dance studio. Every day I provided "enjoyable time" to many students, but had to close the studio due to the pandemic. At that turning point, I chose Eurogear as the next step in my career.

Although the industry is different, it's still hospitality at heart - bringing passion and speaking with your own voice

I started my career as a hotel staff member after graduating, and joined Eurogear in January 2015 - I'm now in my ninth year. People often think I moved to a completely different industry, but in my view it's still hospitality, just in a different form (laughs). The main reason I changed careers was, more than anything else, that I love motorcycles. On top of that, my hospitality experience could be put to use here, I was riding an Italian motorcycle at the time, and I had always liked Italian culture and food.

What matters most at work is never forgetting your original mindset - sincerity, diligence, and honesty

I was impressed that the design was not only great-looking but also excellent in terms of safety, and I started working at Dainese Osaka right after graduating from university. Through my family's business, I became interested in cars and motorcycles - and the one I found coolest of all was Ducati. While searching for riding gear to match a Ducati, I came across Dainese, and I was impressed that the design was not only great-looking but also excellent in terms of safety, so I started working at Dainese Osaka right after graduating from university.

Manager- Setagaya

Influenced by my father, a Dainese fan, I graduated from university in 2020 and joined the company as a new graduate.

I started riding motorcycles because of my father, who loves them. I was once in a motorcycle accident, but thanks to the Dainese gear I was wearing at the time I wasn't injured, and I experienced the safety of the Dainese brand firsthand. I wanted to communicate that safety to as many people as possible, and to work for the very brand that had protected my body - that's what inspired me to join.

Director- Head Office

From part-time staff to director. I want everyone to work while picturing themselves growing into "the person they want to become."

During my student days, I got a motorcycle license at a friend's invitation, and I fell in love with motorcycles when I bought a used Ducati Monster 400. At the same time, I became interested in Italy, the birthplace of Ducati, and once spent about a month backpacking around the country. In recent years, alongside creating a workplace where employees can grow, I've been building an organization that offers strong benefits and a well-balanced work-life environment.
